Joe & The Gym Reunite
A week and a half ago I scooped up a GoodLife membership ($300 for the year) and tonight after work was my first visit to the gym. I’ve been home for about an hour now and my legs are going to be in shambles tomorrow/today. I decided to run on the treadmill for 30 minutes to see where I’m at. I managed to run 2.49 miles in that 30 minutes and I think that’s pretty damn good since I haven’t actually done any real cardio in like 3 or 4 years. I’m thinking I can get that up to 3 miles (10 minutes per mile) in a few weeks if not sooner. If I’m not a gimp tomorrow/today I’ll do some weights since my legs will be in no condition to run I’m sure. Hell, if I can push the clutch in to drive to work tomorrow/today I’ll be satisfied.

Too bad you moved or you and Matt could be run buddy’s! He is running all the time now.

Hey which Gym you going to?
I would like to test my theory that despite my smoking and horrific diet, I am still a super human and can match the physical performances of anyone “healthier”.
